If you've been noticing the cost of commodities and services rising, rest assured you're not alone. People across the country are feeling the pinch. Unfortunately, most companies aren't doing much to help consumers who are finding it increasingly difficult to meet demands, never mind indulge in the extras. Operative word: most. Ford, is taking a slightly different approach.
Contrary to the practice of so many businesses today, the American automaker has decided to cut the price of their Sync system on the forthcoming 2012 Ford Explorer and Edge. The convenient, safe add-on will now be available for just $295 compared to $395. That's a cut of $100!
The new Ford Sync system will also be far more accessible than its predecessor, too. Unlike previous years where the option was exclusive to higher trim levels, the 2012 version will be available across the Explorer and Edge model ranges. Though, Bickford Ford would like to note that variations in Ford Sync features/functionalities should be expected from vehicle to vehicle and model to model.
2012 Ford Sync Features

Looking ahead, we can see that Ford plans to also bring their new Sync system to the 2013 Ford Taurus, 2013 Ford Focus, 2013 Ford Flex, and 2013 Ford Escape. Pricing should mirror that for the 2012 Ford Explorer and 2012 Ford Edge. If you have any questions about the Ford Sync system, please contact Bickford Ford today.
