Ford is always thinking of new ways to expand their products overseas. Their vehicles are already big hits here at home, though not just in The United States of America. Canada, where several Ford vehicles are constructed, is a hub of Ford fandom. From Ford Explorer to Ford Taurus, the company shines in North America.
One place Ford Motor Company is looking towards is China. In that country, citizens love purchasing vehicles from other auto makers, helping them feel closer to a slice of Americana. Ford will target Chinese car shoppers with the idea of buying SUVs, like Explorer and the smaller Ford Escape crossover.
Bickford Ford - 3100 Bickford Avenue Snohomish, WA offers all these vehicles, new and pre-owned, at competitive rates. But let's get back to China's market.
Ford is so confident in their potential Chinese audience, that unique models for the country may be built alongside existing variants at a new plant they will construct over in Hunan.
"Ford plans to introduce 15 new vehicles for China by 2015. The heavy emphasis on utility vehicles aims to tap into a segment that Ford projects will grow by more than 10% annually," according to Detroit Free Press.1
The China-specific vehicles are made to accommodate large families, and can be engineered to navigate China's poor roads found outside major cities. We foresee huge sales figures coming to Ford from China dealers.
