The next-generation 2013 Ford Mustang from Bickford Ford, located at 3100 Bickford Avenue Snohomish, WA, is looking into its feminine side. Ford and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) announced that they're teaming up to promote "Mustang Build Powered by Women."

The build is going to be based off one of three concepts as voted on by fans between May 23^rd and June 3^rd.

SEMA Businesswomen's Network (SBN) will construct this specialized Mustang, and also shine a light on women working in the automotive industry.

Ford donated a 2013 Mustang GT to the program. This new ford coupe packs a 5.0-liter V8 under its hood, and it's rated at 420 horsepower. It clocks in a zero-to-sixty sprint of only 4.7 seconds, and a quarter mile time of 12.6 seconds at 117 miles per hour.

"The build will take place this summer by female members of the SBN," adds the official SEMA press release via The Mustang News. "It's anticipated that mods will be made to the engine, suspension, interior, sound system, exterior and paint. The finished vehicle will be on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November."¹

Once completed, this 2013 Mustang will be auctioned off to raise money for the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund, an organization that fosters he next generation of automotive aftermarket leaders.
