What’s New in the 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor?
For 2023, Ford adds a brand-new Tremor Off-Road variant to the Maverick lineup. It is built on either XLT or Lariat trim and has a more robust exterior appearance. Only vehicles with a non-hybrid all-wheel drive system can have it. Ford has improved its transmission cooler and half shafts to handle more demanding conditions, and a reworked suspension lifts the Maverick Tremor by one inch over the primary vehicle. In addition to other changes, the all-wheel-drive system now has a twin-clutch rear differential that can be opened or closed depending on the need for traction. Maverick Tremor includes Ford’s Trail Control technology, which functions as low-speed cruise control for trails.
